Live Online Training
ACTA spared no cost in developing the best internet-based learning environment in the HVAC industry. Journeymen instructors teach content developed by contractors for contractors with the best collection of internet technologies available.
On ACTA's Online Campus, every student interacts "live" with their instructor. Even students with little computer experience find it easy to engage in class activities, go on web field trips with the class, ask questions, and most importantly, learn what they need to know to benefit themselves and their employer.
ACTA has been training HVAC craftsmen since 1972. In addition to our "Continuing Education Classes, we train State and Federal Commercial Sheet Metal Apprentices as well. Our Sheet Metal Apprentice Training Program has been approved by the State of
California since 1993 and by the
US Federal Government.

Structured System of Hands-on Assignments
ACTA partners with Contractors to make sure students receive the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to be successful. Each class week includes specific work assignments to assure students receive actual hands-on experience.
Approximately once a month, students attend a 4-6 hour lab class where they take exams and get hands-on training from an ACTA instructor. (For students and contractors outside of California, contact ACTA's Training Director for more information).
